Hi I’m Lyndsey and I’m the founder of Catchflightscreatefreedom.
I’m a mum of 2 teenagers and you’ll either find me renovating, travelling and helping people upgrade their lifestyles by building a travel business online.
When starting this opportunity back in 2019 and discovering the secret to travelling smart in the form of becoming a home based independent travel agent I knew then that the possibilities would be endless.

Why did you become a travel agent?I used to book direct with hotels or on online search engines all the time, not knowing that commission was built into EVERY holiday I booked! Now I book those EXACT same holidays but I get to keep that commission I used to give to holiday companies. As my children are getting older holiday prices are increasing, so every penny counts.

When and how are commissions paid?Commissions are paid 30-60 days after travel has completed since most suppliers don't pay inteletravel until then. Once the host agency has received the commission it is split 70/30 (70% to you & 30% to the host agency) before sending it over to you. Commissions are paid twice a month on the 15th & 30th Once you have earned £3500 in commission you will be rewarded with a 80/20 split - so 80% to you! Enjoy those commissions & extra pay days.

Do you have to have travel experience?NOPE! We have extensive FREE training with all our suppliers as well as constant in house company training. The training is all online, it’s accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and done on your terms around your current work & family commitments. You'll gain the skills to craft personalised travel plans while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of remote learning.

It sounds to good to be true, is it a scam?That’s exactly what I thought. I did my research & asked lots of questions and I can assure you it really is as good as it looks. Let me tell you some facts as they speak for themselves .... Our host agency has been established in the industry for over 30 years and are partnered with over 100 of the biggest names in travel. They are proud members of ABTA and hold their own ATOL license. In 2023 Virgin nominated us as the "best home working agency" so be rest assured you are joining an incredible business.

Do I need a big social media following to to successful?Absolutely not. Everyone loves to travel, word of mouth and recommendation are the best way to grow your business. Once you book for a friend or family member, social media follower or work colleague the chances are they’ll tell their friends & family. This is how you’ll get new & repeat business. We also give you plenty of social media training & advice.

What if I join and change my mind?There’s no contract whatsoever meaning you can leave at anytime so its easy to cancel your enrollment if you ever choose to do so.

Can I book for just my family and friends?You can use this business however you wish to - it can be as a part time or full-time travel agent earning an extra income or you can just use it for booking your own and your family's travel. It is completely up to you, there are no targets so you use this to suit you which is why it works for everybody.

How soon can I start booking holidays ?Mandatory training covering GDPR, ABTA, ATOL is quick and simple to do and takes about 3/4 hours. Once you've identified the travel partner's you are wanting to book with and completed their training you're good to go. In all you should expect to be booking travel in your first few weeks.

I have a full time job will this work for me?Yes!!!!!! We have no targets or quotas so you can absolutely do this around a full time job. I was working full time as a mortgage broker when I joined. In fact most of the team work this around busy full time jobs. We have teachers, paramedics, accountants, beauticians, hairdressers, HR managers & retail staff just to name a few. Its a business for everyone looking to upgrade their lifestyle.

Do I have to build a team?There are two separate businesses, the travel business and the marketing business. When you join the travel business you book a holiday and earn travel commissions. It's really that simple. There is no team building going on here. There is also the option to join the marketing company and refer your friends too so they can earn from booking travel. This is a completely separate business opportunity that opens up multiple income streams. The choice is yours!

What can I book?You can book every type of holiday - luxury, budget and everything in between. You can also book packaged holidays, or can book the components by themselves. Flights, hotels, cruises, airport parking, guided tours, weddings, honeymoons, hotel transfers, private car hire, ski trips, Lapland trips, safari's, every hotel chain possible, attraction tickets and activities in the UK and worldwide and also not forgetting the UK breaks, from hotels to lodges, holiday homes and cottages. You don't even need to leave the country to benefit from having your own travel license.
